Alambre Skewers

Enjoy the vibrant flavors of Alambre Skewers with Northgate® Pork Chorizo, marinated beef, and fresh vegetables. Serve with warm tortillas for a delicious meal.

Ingredients

2 cups Northgate® Pork Chorizo
2 cups red onion cut into large-sized cubes
2 cups red bell pepper cut into large-sized cubes
2 cups yellow bell pepper cut into large-sized cubes
3 cups Northgate® Marinated Beef Flap Steak cut into medium-sized cubes
2 cups panela cheese cut into medium-sized cubes
Vegetable oil
Tortillas for serving

Directions

1. Slice Northgate® Pork Chorizo and set aside.
2. Thread Northgate® Pork Chorizo, red onion, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, Northgate® Marinated Beef Flap Steak, and panela cheese onto a wooden skewer. Keep threading ingredients until skewer is full. Repeat until you have 8 alambre skewers or until all ingredients are used up.
3. Place alambre skewers on a grill over indirect fire, cover, and cook for 15 minutes or until cooked through.
4. Serve alambre skewers on a wooden board with tortillas on the side.
